Bloomingdale, IL-based Now Foods has completed the acquisition of a contract manufacturer of personal care, health and beauty aids and cosmetic products, which will allow it to expand into the health and beauty aids category. The contract manufacturer, Burnham Labs, Niles, IL, was originally part of E. Burnham Cosmetics, which was founded in 1929. Now has acquired all of Burnham’s assets, including the equipment, formulas and employees necessary to manfacture these products. Now Foods will continue servicing Burnham’s existing private label customers and expand business through Now’s private label group.
